Terms of service.
1. Who we are
SceneLab is a service provided by Pol Jiménez Ayguadé, Tax ID (NIF) 47423469E, Barcelona, España. Contact: hello@scenelab.actor. By creating an account you accept these terms and our Privacy policy.
2. What SceneLab is
An audition-prep tool for performers (actors and models) that uses artificial intelligence to break down scenes and briefs, give feedback on self-tapes and suggest wardrobe and visual references.
The feedback is guidance only. It is generated by AI, may contain mistakes and does not guarantee any result, such as booking a role. It does not replace your own judgement or that of your agent or teachers.
3. Your account
- You must be 18 or older, or have permission from a parent or guardian, who will be the one subscribing.
- The information you give us must be accurate. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens in your account.
- Accounts are personal: they can't be shared or resold.
4. Plans, prices and limits
Prices are shown in euros and include VAT where it applies; the tax shown at checkout is calculated for your country. Plan limits renew every month and do not roll over.
- Essential, €14.99/month: 30 scene preps and 10 self-tape reviews a month.
- Pro, €17.99/month: 50 scene preps and 15 self-tape reviews a month.
- A scene prep is each time you analyse a scene or prepare a casting. Follow-up questions to the coach have their own fair-use limit.
5. Free trial
- New members get a 7-day free trial with 3 scene preps and 1 self-tape review. A payment card is required to start it. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the plan you chose starts and is charged automatically.
- We email you before your trial ends. You can cancel at any time during the trial from your account and you won't be charged.
6. Founding 100
- The first 100 people on the waitlist ("Founders") get access from 1 November 2026, before the public launch on 5 November 2026.
- Founders get their first month free, with 10 scene preps and 4 self-tape reviews. To keep using SceneLab after it, a payment card must be added before the free month ends; the plan is then charged automatically each month until cancelled. If no card is added, access is paused (your data is not deleted).
- Founder price: as long as a Founder keeps their subscription active without interruption, the monthly price of their plan will not increase. Cancelling and subscribing again later ends the founder price.
- Founder medal: a badge shown on the Founder's profile. It has no monetary value and can't be transferred.
- Joining the waitlist is free and doesn't commit you to subscribe.
7. Payment, renewal and cancellation
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically every month until you cancel.
- You can cancel at any time from your account or by writing to us. You keep access until the end of the period already paid and won't be charged again.
- Stripe emails you an invoice or receipt for each payment.
- If we change prices we will tell you at least 30 days in advance, and you can cancel before the change applies.
8. Right of withdrawal (EU/UK consumers)
As a consumer you have 14 days from the date you subscribe to withdraw without giving a reason. When you start a paid plan you ask us to begin the service immediately, and you acknowledge that if you use it during those 14 days you will be charged only for the part already provided: if you withdraw, we refund the unused part of the period. The free trial is not charged, so it does not count as a paid period. To withdraw, write to hello@scenelab.actor.
9. Discount and referral codes
- Codes from creators or promotions give the discount described when you use them (for example, an extra free month and 10% off the first paid month). One code per person, they can't be exchanged for cash and they expire if the campaign ends.
- Creators who share a code may receive a commission when you subscribe with it. This doesn't change your price.
10. Your material and confidentiality agreements (NDA)
- What you upload stays yours. You only give us permission to process it to provide the service.
- We don't store your scripts or briefs, and they are never used to train AI models (see Privacy policy).
- You are responsible for having the right to upload every script, brief, image or video. If material is under a confidentiality agreement that forbids sharing it with third parties, don't upload it: SceneLab is a third party even though it doesn't store it.
11. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Upload material you don't have the right to share or that infringes other people's rights.
- Use SceneLab for illegal purposes, to harass anyone or to impersonate someone else.
- Automate requests, get around plan limits or try to extract the system, its prompts or models.
- If you break these rules we may suspend your account, warning you first except in serious cases.
12. References and affiliate links
Visual references link to Pinterest, YouTube and third-party shops, which have their own terms. Some shop links are affiliate links: if you buy, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
13. SceneLab's intellectual property
The website, app, brand, design and the system that generates the feedback belong to us or our licensors. You can use the feedback you receive for your work as a performer, but you can't copy or resell the service.
14. Availability and changes
We work to keep SceneLab available, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or provider outages. We may improve or change features; if a change significantly affects you we will tell you and you can cancel.
15. Liability
We are responsible for providing the service with due care. We are not responsible for decisions you make based on the feedback or for indirect damages. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer or our liability for intent or gross negligence.
16. Law and complaints
These terms are governed by Spanish law, without depriving you of the mandatory protections of the country where you live. If you have any problem, write to us first at hello@scenelab.actor. As a consumer you can also go to the courts of your place of residence.
